What a term we have had!  Currently we have 23 students learning and playing chess on Wednesday afternoons in MAG 1.  While the majority of students come from Junior School, there are several students from Middle School joining us which is fantastic!  It has been so exciting to see everyone improve so much, and yes, the students want to play me, as they know I am someone they can win against! Too good for Ms Sheehan!

Mr Ash and his helper Ms Megan have separated the group into two, with the older students learning and playing with Mr Ash and Ms Megan instructing the younger students.  They are learning so much from their Chess Mate lessons and are looking forward to a few tournaments that are coming in Terms 2 and 3, with the tournament in Term 3 to be held at WestMAC!

Exciting times ahead!
