Welcome to the Term 2.

It is wonderful that many of the sporting renovations are now complete, and our students have the opportunity to use renovated Tennis and Multi-Sport Courts, covered Keswick Road courts and new posts on the Main oval both during the day and for training and fixtures. Further renovations to the Keswick Road court surface and Main Oval will occur later this year.

2025 Musical – The Addams Family

With almost 80 Year 7-12 students involved as cast, orchestra, crew or set construction, you are bound to know someone in the show. We are excited to announce that tickets will be on sale from 10:00am Tuesday 6 May. Please go to ipswichciviccentre.com.au to secure your seats. We look forward to full houses at every show and sharing our kooky and fabulous production of The Addams Family.  

Pink Round on Saturday 17 May

During Term 2 each year, our community comes together to honour the memory of Andrea Graham and her family and raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Please join us at the TAS home round and be part of the festivities. You can support this important cause by purchasing pink socks and scrunchies from FlexiSchools, purchasing at the P&F BBQ and bake sale, and buying raffle tickets. We look forward to seeing you at this important WestMAC community event.

STEM Holiday Camp 30 June – 4 July

We are pleased to announce a new College partnership with Integrated STEM. 

Integrated STEM is a team of passionate educators and engineers inspiring students across Australia to accel through tech-focused education. Click here to learn more about Integrated STEM. 

Integrated STEM is offering a Harry Potter themed holiday camp at WestMAC from Monday 30 June to Friday 4 July (middle week of the June/July holidays), for student in Prep-Year 6.

As we return from the holiday period, I encourage you to take time to review your progress and approach Term 2 as an optimist. It is said that optimists take more chances.
