On Saturday, 22 March, the WestMAC Esport Team travelled to the Queensland University of Technology to compete in the QUT High School Esport League Overwatch 2 Tournament.

The pool matches were very competitive with WestMAC finishing second after the preliminary rounds. The Semi Final against Brisbane State High School was hard fought, however WestMAC emerged victorious to book a place in the Grand Final.

Unfortunately, Kelvin Grove State High School defeated WestMAC in a very tight series. Despite the loss, WestMAC played extremely well and recorded their best ever placing in a QUT Overwatch Tournament.

I was especially proud of how our students conducted themselves during and between matches and received many positive comments from the organisers and other schools about the behaviour and conduct of our team.
